The issue 2025–2 of ‘Swiss Arc Mag’, which focuses on porosity, presents five remarkable projects from Switzerland. One of these is the Binzstrasse Office and Commercial Building – a porous structure that blurs the boundaries between public and private spaces. With well thought-out design features, these buildings intelligently promote flexibility, connectivity and interaction. At the same time, they demonstrate how closely porosity is linked to spatial qualities such as light, air, views and a pleasant indoor climate.
